Florence, Milan- Strutting in David Meister

I am an avid follower of Ilham Abbas, the CEO of Ilham Group. Her online retail store www.elilhaam.com has a brilliant collection of haut couture gowns, accessories and shoes. If you haven't checked out the site, you should.

Anyway, the point of this post is that Ilham Abbas is my inspiration! She is always so positive and has opened my eyes to some brilliant designers.

She is currently in Milan. I saw her Instagram post of her wearing a David Meister dress and it is beautiful. I'm ordering it today. Extremely excited!

Pharrell Williams and his Trilby at the Grammys

Trilbys are making a splash at the men's fashion shows and look who brought it to the red carpet!

This is so similar to the Trilby worn on the ramp, at theYohji Yamamoto autumn/winter 2014/15 show.

Grammy Awards, 2014- Taylor Swift looked Angelic!

I knew we had to look out for this country singer. I had a feeling she would steal the limelight and I was right. This young star wore a form-fitting, short-sleeved, gold lamé gown by Gucci Première. It had a crystal mesh overlay and gemstone detailing at the neckline, arms and waist. Gosh! She looked absolutely stunning.

Caroline Celico- one word. Beautiful

So I was just having a random chat with my fellow fashion-freak friend of mine and we got around to talking about the Fifa World Cup this year. Being a huge Brazil supported and my friend being a Germany supporter, we were talking about the players and who our favorites were. My friend Mel started talking about Caroline Celico, Ricardo Kaka's young, beautiful wife. No one would believe that she is a mother of two.

Artists to look out for this Grammys.

Janelle Monae surprised all of us last Grammys in a Moschino tux - with tails, it should be mentioned- and a Ralph Lauren hat. She really did pull of the look brilliantly!

The "Jesus Take The Wheel" singer, Carrie Underwood, turned heads wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown and $31 million worth of Johnathon Arndt diamond jewelry. She looked fabulous. Her look was my favorite from  last year's Grammys.

 The country star, Taylor Swift walked the red carpet in a J. Mendel crème silk chiffon pleated gown with a deep neckline and embroidered straps and metallic heels  that completed her angelic look. I thought she looked gorgeous!
